How are you finding online groups and such? I want to be involved in some online support, but haven't really found any that I'm interested in joining. I suppose the nice thing about the office is you're kind of forced to talk to one another, right?

I just miss having someone to talk to every day. I do enjoy living on my own and working at home, but it can get exceptionally quiet. I had to get a dog, and now I at least feel like I have a sense of companionship--and I have a reason to leave the house every day and walk him!

Actually, I find my office to be very divisive on the subjects of diets in particular. It's gotten back to me that I've been made fun of for a caloric lunch when I'm on a diet, and I hear other people making snipey, not supportive comments. It's kind of tough!

Not only the support, but the easy sense of camaraderie that you get in an office is just undeniable. Mostly, though, the camaraderie is based on the fact that you all don't want to be there together...so I guess that's not really a plus.
