I do enjoy living on my own and working at home, but it can get exceptionally quiet. I had to get a dog, and now I at least feel like I have a sense of companionship--and I have a reason to leave the house every day and walk him! I just miss having someone to talk to every day. It's gotten back to me that I've been made fun of for a caloric lunch when I'm on a diet, and I hear other people making snipey, not supportive comments. It's kind of tough! Mostly, though, the camaraderie is based on the fact that you all don't want to be there together...so I guess that's not really a plus.
